Biography

Born on December 15, 1979 in San Diego, California, Adam Jared Brody never went to college in Los Angeles as he had originally informed his parents he would; instead, the young aspiring actor hired an acting coach, signed with a personal manager, and soon began landing roles such as Barry Williams in the NBC television movie, Growing Up Brady. In addition, he starred in the MTV cult series Now What? and had a recurring role in the WB's Gilmore Girls. Brody's big break didn't come until he got the part of Seth Cohen in the hit Fox teen drama, The O.C.. Now the young actor is recognized all the time and even more often is asked for his autograph.

Besides television, Brody's movie credits include small roles in American Pie 2 and The Ring, and a starring role in Grind, a recent skateboarding movie. Look for more of Adam in the upcoming satirical comedy, Thank You for Smoking, and weekly episodes of the The O.C., airing on Fox Thursdays at 8:00 PM, 7:00 PM central.
